SNV Netherlands Development Organization, an international NGO with a trusted presence in Tanzania for over 40 years has recently begun active implementation of a new project in the Results Based Financing (RBF) for Pico-Solar PV lighting applications  for Lake Zone 28 districts in the regions of Geita, Kagera, Mara, Mwanza, Shinyanga and Simiyu.

Focusing on the application of a temporary financial product in mainstreaming banking that serves to assist the private sector in developing rural markets for Pico-solar products, the project has called for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Financial and Banking Industry in Tanzania to ultimately provide consistent and quality services in hosting a Euro 1 million RBF fund for a duration of 4 years of the program starting early 2014.

It is a rare opportunity for Financial Institutions to be part of this important program to improve livelihood of rural Tanzanians.

Interested parties to this Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI), can request for detailed information package via email to;
