MOBISOL UK LTD,  a company based in Berlin which started to operation in 2011 has managed to sell more than thirty thousand systems to households in Tanzania and Rwanda. Apart from selling solar home systems, the company support government social and economic development initiatives through the company corporate social responsibility programme.

As part of celebration of 30,000th customer who was reached on the October 21, 2015, Mobisol management decided to honour that customer and make him hero in his home village of Ngasamo in Busega, Simiyu Region. The 14th November was chosen as the day of celebrating the achievement of the 30,000th customer and in connection to that the company would provide a solar home system worth TZS 3,261,400 to the dispensary in Ngasamo.

Speaking during celebration, Mobisol Marketing Manager Nkora Nkoranigwa said the company thrives to be ahead of the pack in providing solar energy solutions to the market and with the solution for their total needs. "This technology has been tried and tested in several countries in the world and I am certain it is a proven off grid solution to light rural Tanzania and East Africa in the short to medium term" He said Mobisol solar power not only you save money from buying kerosene or alternative electricity by buying Mobisol's solar home system, you can also earn money and improve quality of your life by starting a business of charging phones in the rural area and earn 5000/= in three hours a day.

Nkoranigwa said the product is also tailor made to meet the needs of different segments of the rural and even urban markets as it comes in different sizes in terms of capacity, ranging from lighting and phone charging only to those that power any standard appliances sush as TV, fan and laptops.
The message of the event was "if you own a Mobisol system, you can earn extra income through the use of Mobisol's business out of the box solar charger concept-the Mobicharger.

District Medical Officer, Patrick Onyango in his speech during the event said the solar home system installed at this dispensary will be helpful especially on smoothening running of the dispensary such as laboratory, the ward (especially maternity ward) and for the OPD (outpatient department), the TV would be useful while patients wait for services. He was also thankful for the continual support for both economic and socio-development of the ward and district. He commited to provide fully supprt wherever Mobisol wished to operate in the district.

The 30,000th customer of Mobisol referred as hero of the day at the event, Kichoro S. Mhengere said he was very happy to be honoured by the company and believed that he would benefit from solar power installed at his home. "This system not only will be able to pay off my systems from extra income I will get for charging phones, but my income from my work will be used for other productive work. I did not expect this but I will be smart in using this Mobicharger so that my personal income goals are achieved" he said.

Commenting on solar donation to the village hospital, some villagers of Ngasamo were very thankful as it was sometimes difficult when someone was very sick as they had to use solar-taa or kerosene lamps or torches. "Mobisol offers reliable light, easy repayment plan and when you call they respond quickly" said one of the villagers.
